ISO has registered a new work item, ISO/AWI 16321-2, to revise the standard on eye and face protection used during welding and related techniques. The second edition will replace ISO 16321-2:2021.
The revision covers material, design, performance and marking requirements for welding protectors. Manufacturers holding certificates to ISO 16321-2:2021 should monitor the revision and plan re-assessment once the new edition is published.
